Adjust keyframe easing
Control how your animation accelerates and slows down.
Easing changes the feel of an animation without changing the basic idea of its movement. MotionUI lets you choose a curve preset or adjust the curve yourself.
Apply a curve
Select the keyframes you want to change in the After Effects timeline.
Open Easing in MotionUI.
Pick a preset curve or drag the curve handles.
Click Apply Easing to Keys.
Preview the result and adjust the curve or keyframe spacing if needed.
Timing and easing work together
If an animation still feels too slow, check the distance between the keyframes as well as the curve. A strong ease on a long move can feel very different from the same curve on a short UI transition.
Nothing changes?
Make sure keyframes are selected in the timeline. Selecting only the layer is different from selecting the keys that receive the easing.
