One app to get moving.

MotionUI for Mac connects Figma, After Effects and Claude. Start here, then access both plugins from inside the app.

Available for macOS. Figma, After Effects and Claude are separate products.

01

Install the Mac app.

Download MotionUI, open the installer and move the app to Applications. Open MotionUI to see your Figma, After Effects and Claude connections.

02

Access your plugins from MotionUI.

Use the Figma section to access the MotionUI plugin and follow the instructions shown in the app. Use the After Effects section to install or update the panel, then open it in After Effects.

03

Bring your Figma design into After Effects.

Select frames or individual layers in Figma. Send them through MotionUI, choose a new, empty or open composition, and decide whether to use individual layers or groups as precomps. Choose vector or raster import to suit your artwork.

04

Bring Claude into the workflow.

With Claude connected to MotionUI, describe what you want to change in Figma or animate in After Effects. Claude can use MotionUI tools for keyframes, easing, text, sequencing and proximity effects. Review the result and refine it in your design and animation tools.
