Use Pins&Grid for design reveals

Add construction guides, bounds and pin overlays to your artwork.

Pins&Grid adds visible design details such as corner pins, construction grids, bezier handles and logo guides. Use these overlays to explain a layout or reveal the structure of a UI.

Create an overlay

  1. Select the shape, text or vector layers you want to describe.

  2. Open Pins&Grid and choose a rig style.

  3. Create the rig and inspect its fit around the artwork.

  4. Use the available animation, restyle and update controls to refine it.

After changing the source

If you change the underlying artwork, update the rig and check its bounds again. Choose guides that make the design easier to understand instead of covering every element with an overlay.

Keep the hierarchy clear

Use a consistent guide style across a scene and animate overlays after the primary design appears. This keeps technical details readable without competing with the product story.
