Give every movement a reason

Good interface animation helps the viewer understand a change. Before adding movement, write down what happens in the scene: a panel opens, a selection changes, or a task finishes. That sentence becomes the reason for the animation.

Start with one clear action

Choose the element the viewer should notice first. Let supporting elements follow it instead of asking everything to compete for attention. A small delay can establish order, but every delay also adds time. Watch the scene at normal speed and remove pauses that do not help explain the action.

Build a repeatable rhythm

Keep similar actions visually related. If one card arrives with a short slide, nearby cards should usually follow the same idea. In MotionUI, Animate and layer sequencing let you work on that rhythm from one panel. Start with a restrained setup, preview the full scene, then adjust what the story actually needs.
